Piston - Pin Diameter

  1. Measure the piston pin diameter in 2 directions at the points shown. Verify the diameter is within specification.
    • For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
    • If out of specification, install new components as necessary. For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
