Connecting Rod - Bushing Diameter

Measure the inner diameter of the connecting rod bushing, if equipped. Verify the diameter is within specification.
1. Refer to GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS for 3.8L engines or GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS for 4.6L engines.
2. If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to PISTON for 3.8L engines or PISTON for 4.6L engines.
