Removal and Installation

Raise and support the vehicle.
Disconnect the power steering hoses and the transaxle fluid cooler hoses from the oil-to-air (OTA) fluid cooler (3F749).

Remove the bolts and the OTA fluid cooler.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill the transaxle with MERCON® V Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-5-QM or equivalent meeting MERCON® V specification. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID DRAIN AND REFILL .
- Fill the power steering system with the specified amount and type of fluid. Refer to POWER STEERING SYSTEM FILLING .
