Fuel System
WARNING:
Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited, resulting in possible personal injury.
The vehicle:
- is equipped with a multiport fuel injection system.
- uses separately controlled fuel injectors mounted to the intake manifold for each cylinder.
- is equipped with fuel injectors that are supplied with pressurized fuel from the fuel pump through the fuel injection supply manifold.
- has a fuel injection supply manifold which is equipped with a fuel pressure regulator.
- has a fuel pressure regulator controlling the fuel pressure supplied to the fuel injectors.
