NOTE: All diagnostic tests are written specifically for New Generation Star (NGS) tester. Most generic OBD-II compliant scan tools should be able to perform all test procedures.

NOTE: On vehicles with California emission, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will illuminate if lower generator circuit has 12 volts when PCM has commanded it off for 2 consecutive drive cycles.
