Torque Converter End Play Check: Check

Insert the special tools in the turbine.

Tighten the center Collet of the tool.
Using the special tool, position the indicator button on the converter housing and set the dial at zero.

Pull up on the special tool and observe the dial indicator reading.

If the end play exceeds specification, install a new or remanufactured torque converter.
