Fuel Tank Draining

NOTE:
Special tools required: A 10 mm, outside diameter, nylon drain tube with a 40 mm long taper at the end of the tube and a Hand Pump Fuel Storage Tanker (034-00002) or equivalent. See Fig 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable and remove the fuel filler cap. Insert the tappered end of the drain tube through the flapper in the filler tube. If necessary, rotate the drain tube while inserting into the fuel tank. Drain fuel from fuel tank using the Hand Pump Fuel Storage Tanker (034-00002).
