Oil Pan: Removal
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
- Remove the radiator sight shield.
- Remove the coolant recovery reservoir.
- Disconnect the hose.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the coolant recovery reservoir.
- Install the special tool.
- Install the special tool.
- Install the special tool.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the LH engine mount nut.
- Remove the RH engine mount nut.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Raise the engine.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
- Remove the starter motor. For additional information, refer to STARTERS .
- Position the wiring harness bracket aside.
- Remove the transmission lower bolts.
- Remove the oil pan bolts.
- Position a safety stand under the subframe crossmember.
- Remove the four subframe lower bolts.
- Remove the two subframe upper bolts.

NOTE: Do not completely remove these bolts. Loosen the two bolts.
- Lower the front subframe.
- Remove the oil pan.
