Fuel Line Fittings - R-Clip: Connect

NOTE: New R-clips must be used when reconnecting the fitting.

NOTE: Remove any dirt or obstructions.

Inspect the fitting and the tube for damage.
Apply a light coat of engine oil to the male tube end.
Insert the R-clip into the fitting.

Align the tube and the fitting.

Insert the tube in the fitting and push together until a click is heard.

Pull on the connection to make sure it is fully engaged.
