Digital Transmission Range Sensor

CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

Disconnect battery negative cable. Place transmission in Neutral position. Raise vehicle on hoist. Disconnect shift cable at Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor, loosen sensor bolts and install DTR Sensor Alignment Tool (T97L-70010-A). Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reconnect shift cable, lower vehicle and reconnect negative battery cable.
