Transaxle Support Insulator: Removal
- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the LH wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
- Place the high lift transmission jack under the transaxle.
- Remove the engine and transmission support insulator.
- Remove the nut.
- Remove the bolts.
- Raise the transaxle and remove the engine and transaxle support insulator.
- Remove the rear engine support bracket.
CAUTION:
Do not excessively raise the engine. Over-extension of the tripod CV joint could result in separation of internal parts, causing failure of the halfshafts.
NOTE:
The transaxle will need to be raised to remove the transaxle support insulator.
