Removal and Installation

CAUTION: During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan can cause engine failure.

Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to GENERATOR .
Remove the idler pulley.

Unclip the A/C wiring harness from the generator bracket brace.

Remove the bolts and the generator bracket and the bracket brace as an assembly from the vehicle.

Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.

Remove the oil pressure sender.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
