When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

Verify customers complaint by operating keyless entry system. Check for low battery charge, blown fuse(s), faulty or sticking relay(s), faulty door ajar switch, loose or corroded harness connectors, damaged wiring, damaged transmitter(s), faulty transmitter batteries, damaged keypad, faulty brake pedal position switch, faulty digital transmission range sensor and binding locks or latches. If any problems are found, repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If no problems are found, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
