Brake System

The vehicle is equipped with a vacuum-assisted power braking system. Refer to POWER BRAKE ACTUATION .

The braking system is a diagonally split hydraulic system. Refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION .

The front brakes utilize a dual piston brake caliper and disc brake system. Refer to DISC & DRUM ,

The rear drum brakes use a self-adjusting system. Refer to DISC & DRUM ,

The parking brake system uses the rear drum brakes and is self-adjusting. Refer to PARKING BRAKE & ACTUATION .

A 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (4WABS) is standard equipment. Refer to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL-TRACTION CONTROL .
