With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, Refer to BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM .
Remove the air cleaner inlet.

CAUTION: The coolant drain procedure must be followed exactly or damage to the engine can occur.

Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, Refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Discharge the A/C system. For additional information, Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
Remove the power steering pump reservoir bolts. For additional information, Refer to DRIVELINE SYSTEM .
Remove the cowl vent screens. For additional information, Refer to BODY SYSTEM - EXTERIOR .
Disconnect the fuel hose. For additional information, Refer to FUEL SYSTEM .
Remove the fresh air filter panel. For additional information, Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
Remove the front wheels and tires.
Remove the LH and the RH inner splash shields.
Remove the driveshaft. For additional information, Refer to DRIVELINE SYSTEM .
Remove the three-way catalytic converter (TWC). For additional information, Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
