Front Toe Adjustment
NOTE:
The checking and subsequent adjustment of the front toe setting should be carried out on a flat surface and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions for the wheel alignment equipment used.
- Centralize the steering and lock it in position.
- Loosen the tie-rod end locknuts.
- Remove the steering gear boot outer clamps.
- Rotate the tie-rods an equal amount in either a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction to adjust the toe setting.
- Tighten the tie-rod end locknuts. For additional information, refer to STEERING LINKAGE .
- Install the steering gear boot outer clamps.
- Check the toe setting.
