Retrieving Fault Codes
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under instrument panel. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Follow manufacturer's instructions for scan tool being used.
- After pressing START, all continuous DTCs will be displayed on scan tool screen. Record DTCs displayed for reference. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table. When continuous DTCs are cleared, they cannot be retrieved.
