MATERIALS

Super Premium SAE 5W-20 XO-5W20-QSP or equivalent	WSS-M2C153-H

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .

CAUTION: The cooling system filling and bleeding procedure must be followed exactly or damage to the engine can occur.

Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Drain the engine oil.
Remove the lower splash shield.
Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

ITEM 9: OIL COOLER INSTALLATION NOTE

NOTE: Inspect the gasket and surfaces for contamination prior to installation.

Position the oil cooler and a new gasket and install the bolt.
- Rotate the cooler clockwise until the locating pin hits the stop.

ITEMS 7 AND 8: OIL FILTER AND GASKET INSTALLATION NOTE

Install the oil filter until the seal makes contact. Using an oil filter strap wrench, tighten an additional 270 degrees.
