Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Differential: Assembly

NOTE: New taper roller bearings can be installed without any treatment.

Lubricate with transmission fluid during reassembly.
Install the gear to the differential, then install the ring gear bolts. Tighten the bolts in a star pattern.
- Tighten to 88 Nm (65 lb-ft).
Install the trigger wheel and differential bearings.
- Install the trigger wheel in the housing recess.
- Using the special tools, install the differential bearing. Turn the differential over and install the other differential bearing.
