Selector Lever Knob: Installation
- Connect the transmission control switch electrical connector.
- For early production vehicles, WRAP the transmission control switch wire around the selector shaft channel to keep the harness from contacting the sliding mechanisms.
- For late production vehicles, FOLD the transmission control switch wire into the selector shaft channel to keep the harness from contacting the sliding mechanisms.
- Align the selector lever knob base screw hole with the selector shaft and install the screw.
