In-Vehicle Servicing: Flexplate: Installation

  1. Position the flexplate and loosely install the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

  2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION article.
    3. WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM article.
  3. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
