Traction Control with Roll Stability Control

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) with traction control and roll stability control consists of the following components:

• Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
• ABS module
• Stability traction control switch
• Steering wheel rotation sensor
• Stability control sensor cluster (contains the accelerometer[s], roll rate sensor and yaw rate sensor)
• Front wheel speed sensors
• Front wheel speed sensor rings (integral to the wheel bearing and hub assemblies)
• Rear wheel speed sensors
• Rear wheel speed sensor rings (integral to the halfshafts)
• Brake pressure transducer (integral to the ABS module)
• Brake fluid level sensor
• Brake pedal force switch (integral to the brake booster)
• Brake booster solenoid (integral to the brake booster)
• Yellow ABS warning indicator
• Traction control/roll stability control indicator ("sliding car" indicator)

The front wheel speed sensor rings are integral to the front bearing and hub assemblies. Refer to FRONT SUSPENSION - REAR WHEEL DRIVE (RWD) or FRONT SUSPENSION - FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) .

The rear wheel speed sensor rings are integral to the rear halfshafts. Refer to REAR DRIVE HALFSHAFTS .
