REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE . CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test with the brake pedal not applied. |
| B2477 | Module Configuration Failure | For vehicles equipped with a 4.6L engine, CONFIGURE the ABS module. REFER to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) . CLEAR the DTCs. Using the scan tool, CARRY OUT the IVD Initialization sequence. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2477 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE . REPEAT the self-test. For all other vehicles, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE . REPEAT the self-test. |

| C1282 | Lateral Accelerometer Signal Fault | This DTC indicates a concern with the lateral acceleration sensor which is integral to the RCM . REFER to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING to diagnose the RCM . If a new lateral acceleration sensor is needed, a new RCM must be installed. |
