Selector Lever Cable: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the air cleaner. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .
Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .
Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.

Release the 2 tabs, remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever cable bracket and position the cable aside.

Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Remove the 2 nuts from the grommet, route the selector lever cable from the engine compartment through the floor and remove the selector lever cable from the passenger compartment.
