Removal And Installation: Generator: Installation

- Install the generator and generator upper and lower bolts. Hand-tighten the bolts. Do not torque the bolt at this time.
- Install the generator stud bolt.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Install the generator nut.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Tighten the generator upper and lower bolts.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Attach the upper degas bottle hose to the fuel rail.
- Connect the generator electrical connector.
- Position the generator B+ terminal on the generator and install the nut.
- Tighten the nut to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
- Install the generator B+ terminal protective cover.
- Install the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
- Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
