Transmission Control Module (TCM): Installation

Install the TCM and the 2 nuts.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

NOTE: Keep the Transmission Control Module (TCM) electrical connector straight when connecting it or damage the connector terminals can occur.

Connect the TCM electrical connector and slide the lock tab down to lock the connector.
Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
Using the scan tool, download the solenoid body strategy. For additional information, refer to SOLENOID BODY STRATEGY .
