Functional Components

The functional components of the audio system (and their locations) are as follows:

• Audio Front Control Module (ACM)
• Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM), located at the front of the floor console (if equipped)
• Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM)
• Front Display Interface Module (FDIM)
• Audio amplifier, located under the passenger seat
• Global Positioning System Module (GPSM), located in the instrument panel (if equipped)
• Audio input jack, located in the center of the instrument panel
• Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable and port, located in the center console
• Microphone, integral to the auto-dimming interior mirror (if equipped)
• Clockspring
• Steering wheel controls (if equipped)
• Speakers (see AUDIO LINE-UP  for locations)
• Subwoofer, located behind the RH rear quarter trim panel (if equipped)
• Subwoofer amplifier, located behind the RH rear quarter trim panel (if equipped)
• AM/FM antenna
• AM/FM antenna cable
• Satellite radio antenna or combination satellite radio/Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna (if equipped)
• Satellite radio antenna cables (if equipped)
