Removal and Installation
NOTE:
Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
- Disconnect the 2 VDM electrical connectors.
- Remove the VDM bracket nuts and the module.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM) is mounted to the lower left side of the dash above the parking brake control.
NOTE:
The VDM is calibrated with information from the ride height sensors. A new or exchanged VDM requires that the LH and RH ride height sensors are calibrated and a Pneumatic Test is carried out.
