Pinpoint Test

CHECK THE DTCs FROM BOTH THE CONTINUOUS AND ON-DEMAND C-CM SELF-TESTS
1. Ignition ON.
2. Using a scan tool, clear continuous DTCs from all modules.
3. Ignition OFF.
4. Wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Ignition ON.
6. Using a scan tool, perform the C-CM self-test.
Is DTC C1A67:96 recorded?
1. Yes: GO to 2 .
2. No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to an intermittent fault condition. CHECK the C-CM connector for corrosion. CLEAN and REPAIR if corrosion is present. CLEAR the DTCs .
CHECK FOR CORRECT C-CM OPERATION
1. Disconnect the C-CM connector.
2. Repair:
  - corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
  - damaged or bent pins - install new terminals/pins
  - pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
3. Reconnect the C-CM connector. Make sure it seats and latches correctly.
4. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
Is the concern still present?
1. Yes: CHECK OASIS for any applicable TSBs . If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW TSB instructions. If no TSBs address this concern, INSTALL a new C-CM . REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) .
2. No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
