Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Installation

    NOTE: Inspect the OSS sensor O-ring for damage. If damaged, install a new O-ring.
  1. Inspect and lubricate the O-ring with petroleum jelly.

    Install the OSS sensor into the transmission.

  2. Install the OSS sensor screw.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  3. Connect the OSS sensor electrical connector.
