Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the knee airbag module.

    (Refer to "KNEE AIRBAG (KAB) MODULE ")

  4. Remove the driver side shower duct (A) after loosening the screw.

  5. Remove the brake pedal assembly.

    (Refer to "BRAKE PEDAL ")

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the mode control actuator (B) after loosening the mounting screws.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
