Ride Height Measurement: Check

Front Ride Height Measurement 

1. 1. Ride height = 3-2
   2. Measurement 2
   3. Measurement 3
2. NOTE: Lock the surface gauge in this position.

   Position the surface gauge on the same flat, level surface, adjust the gauge arm until the scriber point is located in the center of the lower arm forward bolt.

   Use the General Equipment: Surface Gauge

3. With the surface gauge positioned on a flat, level surface, record the measurement of the surface gauge position (measurement 2).

4. NOTE: Lock the surface gauge in this position.

   Position the surface gauge on the same flat, level surface, adjust the gauge arm until the scriber point is located in the center of the ball joint bolt.

5. With the surface gauge positioned on a flat, level surface, record the measurement of the surface gauge position (measurement 3).
6. Subtract measurement 2 from measurement 3 to obtain the front ride height.

   Rear Ride Height Measurement 

   NOTE: Make sure that the vehicle is positioned on a flat, level surface and the tires are inflated to the correct pressure. Vehicle should have a full tank of fuel.
7. 1. Ride height = 2-3
   2. Measurement 2
   3. Measurement 3
8. Measure the distance between the flat level surface and the center of the rear lower arm inboard bolt (Cam Adjuster) (measurement 2).
9. Measure the distance between the flat level surface and the center of the rear lower arm outboard bolt (measurement 3).
10. Subtract measurement 3 from measurement 2 to obtain the rear ride height.
