Removal and Installation
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to STEERING COLUMN SHROUD .
- Remove the 2 screws, detach the in-vehicle temperature sensor and hose assembly (if equipped) and remove the steering column opening trim panel.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- Disconnect the steering column tilt motor electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 steering column tilt motor screws and the steering column tilt motor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
