Removal And Installation

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables .
- 3.
Remove the 2 retainers and the PCM.- Remove the retainers and remove the PCM from the mounting frame, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- 4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
If the Instrument Cluster (IC) or the PCM is being replaced (or both), the parameters must be reset in both modules or the vehicle experiences a Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) no-start. This occurs even if the vehicle is not equipped with PATS. Refer to PATS Parameter Reset in Anti-Theft Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS), With Intelligent Access (IA)
