Removal And Installation

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. 1.

    Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Shroud .

  1. 2.

    Remove the 2 screws, detach the in-vehicle temperature sensor and hose assembly (if equipped) and remove the steering column opening trim panel.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

  1. 3.

    Disconnect the steering column tilt motor electrical connector.

  1. 4.

    Remove the 2 steering column tilt motor screws and the steering column tilt motor.
    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  1. 5.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
