Overhead Console: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

NOTE: On both sides.

Remove the overhead console storage compartment bin.

Lower the dome lamp assembly, disconnect the 3 electrical connectors and remove the dome lamp assembly.

Release the 2 tabs and rotate the overhead console assembly downward.

Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors and remove the overhead console.

5.

Release the 10 harness retainers, disconnect the electrical connector and position the harness through the opening.

NOTE: On boths sides.

Remove the cover.

Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove the screw and the sunvisor.

Remove the 4 trim covers and remove the 4 screws.
Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

9.

NOTE: Make sure that all electrical connectors and wiring are not hindered before removing the overhead console storage compartment or damage to the components may occur.

Remove the 6 screws and the overhead console storage compartment.

Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
