Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM): Removal

  1. 1.

    Remove the clockspring. Refer to: Clockspring .

  1. 2.

    Remove the right hand steering column multifunction switch. Refer to: Steering Column Multifunction Switch RH .

  1. 3.

    Remove the left hand steering column multifunction switch. Refer to: Steering Column Multifunction Switch LH .

  1. 4.

    Disconnect the SASM electrical connector and remove the SASM upper screws.

    Torque: 25 lb.in (2.8 Nm)

  1. 5.

    Remove the screws and the SASM.

    Torque: 25 lb.in (2.8 Nm)
