Steering Column Tilt Motor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

Remove the steering column shrouds. REFER to: Steering Column Shrouds .

2.

Remove the bolts and the steering column reinforcement panel.
Torque

: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Disconnect the tilt motor electrical connector.

Remove the screws and the tilt motor.
Torque

: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
