Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

Remove the brake disc. Refer to: Brake Disc .

2.

Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.

  Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bracket bolt.
  Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

  Detach the wheel speed sensor harness from the brake hose.

  Detach the wheel speed sensor harness pin-type retainers and position aside the wheel speed sensor wire.

4.

Using compressed air, clean the area surrounding the front wheel speed sensor.

5.

Remove the bolt and the front wheel speed sensor.
Torque: 150 lb.in (17 Nm)
