Inspection And Verification

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Check the battery condition and state of charge. REFER to: Battery .
3. Before diagnosing or repairing the charging system inspect the following items:
   • Fusible links
   • Abnormal ignition-off current drain(s). REFER to: Battery Drain Check .
   • High current BJB for loose or corroded connections
   • Wiring, terminals or connectors

4. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding.
