Roof Opening Panel Alignment

Adjustment 

NOTE: Rear Fixed Glass Panel
NOTE: If both glass panels are being aligned, align the rear fixed glass panel before aligning the front sliding glass panel.

The front sliding glass panel initialization procedure must be done when repairs are carried out on the roof opening panel system, including: any time the roof opening panel motor has been removed, the roof opening panel glass (rear fixed or front sliding) has been removed or adjusted, or if the roof opening panel frame has been removed.

  1. Position the front sliding glass panel to the fully closed position.

  2. Measure the rear fixed glass panel to roof and roof height at the side of the glass and rear of the glass as shown in illustration.

  3. If adjustment is necessary, place the roof opening panel shield to the fully open position.

  4. If necessary.Adjust the rear fixed glass.

    1. NOTE: LH side shown in illustration, RH side similar.

      On both sides.Loosen the retaining bolts.

      Torque

      : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

    2. Adjust the rear fixed glass to specifications from the previous steps.

  5. If the rear fixed glass alignment was adjusted and the front sliding glass panel does not  need adjustment, initialize the front sliding glass panel. REFER to: Power Roof Opening Panel Initialization - Vehicles Built From: 06-June-2016 .

NOTE: The front sliding glass panel initialization procedure must be done when repairs are carried out on the roof opening panel system, including: any time the roof opening panel motor has been removed, the roof opening panel glass (rear fixed or front sliding) has been removed or adjusted, or if the roof opening panel frame has been removed.
  1. Position the front sliding glass panel to the fully closed position.

  2. Measure the front sliding glass panel to roof and roof height at the front of the glass, the side of the glass and the front sliding glass panel to rear fixed glass panel as shown in illustration.

  3. If necessary.Place the roof opening panel shield to the fully open position.

  4. If necessary.On both sides, remove the roof opening panel blind.

  5. If necessary.Adjust the front sliding glass.
