Transfer Case

All vehicles
- Install a new compression seal.
- Install the PTU.
- Install the new top PTU bolts.
Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Install the new bottom PTU bolts.
Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Check the PTU fluid level. Refer to: Transfer Case Fluid Level Check .
2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4
- Install the PTU support bracket and the support bracket bolts.
Torque: 1: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm) | 2: 46 lb.ft (63 Nm)
1.5L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - I4/1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - Sigma

NOTE: 2.0L shown. 1.5L and 1.6L similar.
Install the PTU support bracket and the support bracket bolts.
Torque: : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
All vehicles
- Connect the PTU vent hose.
- Install the PTU heat shield and heat shield bolts.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Install the RH halfshaft. Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH
.
2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4
- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to: Catalytic Converter .
- Install the CAC tube.
Torque: 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) | 2: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

- Install the rear driveshaft. Refer to: Rear Driveshaft

- Install the CAC tube.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
