Transmission Control Module (TCM): Installation

NOTE: Keep the TCM electrical connector straight when connecting it or damage the connector terminals can occur.
- Position the TCM in place and install the nuts.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Connect the TCM electrical connector and slide the lock tab in to lock the connector.
- Attach the TCM wiring harness retainer.

Install the TCM shield and retainers.

Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the PMI procedure. Refer to: Module Programming .
Using the scan tool, download the solenoid body strategy. Refer to: Transmission Strategy Download .
