Activation 

1. NOTE: For vehicles equipped with an engine idle shutdown system, the system automatically shuts down the engine when it has been idling in P (Park) or N (Neutral) for five minutes (parking brake set) or 15 minutes (parking brake not set).

   Using a scan tool, follow the on-screen instructions for Engine Idle Shutdown Disable under Programmable Parameters.
