Drain hose. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1525 Flusher, Engine. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

Fill hose. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1525 Flusher, Engine.

NOTE: Use Flusher, Ford Engine 303-1525 or a commercially available coolant exchanger. Do not exceed 138 kPa (20 psi) fluid pressure.NOTE: Collect drained coolant for proper disposal.
Using 15L (15.8 qt) Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Prediluted or a 50/50 mixture of Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrate and distilled water, exchange the coolant in the battery loop. Use Special Service Tool: 303-1525 Flusher, Engine. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)

- Test the coolant from the battery outlet hose after disconnecting the Flusher, Ford Engine or commercially available coolant exchanger with a refractometer. Temperature should be within the following range. If not, reattach the drain hose, reposition the clamping pliers and continue to exchange the coolant until the coolant tests within specification.
