Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RCM continuously monitors the left front impact sensor circuits for the following faults:
- Open circuit
- Short to voltage
- Short to ground
- Faulted left front impact sensor

| B1413:11 | Driver Frontal Restraints Sensor: Circuit Short to Ground | Sets when the RCM senses a short to ground from the left front impact sensor feed circuit. |
| B1413:81 | Driver Frontal Restraints Sensor: Invalid Serial Data Received | Sets when the RCM senses a faulted left front impact sensor or an open from the sensor feed or return circuits. |
| B1413:93 | Driver Frontal Restraints Sensor: No Operation | Sets when the RCM senses a faulted left front impact sensor or a short to voltage from the sensor feed circuit. |
