Transfer Case Draining And Filling: Draining

1. Follow the health and safety precautions. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .
2. With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
3. If equipped. Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

4. Remove the PTU drain plug.

5. Install the PTU drain plug.

   Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
