Inspection 

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.
  1. Check body to the front door dimensions.

    1. Dimension: 0.1575 +/-0.0591 in (4 +/-1.5 mm)
    2. Dimension: 0.1772 +/-0.0591 in (4.5 +/-1.5 mm)
    3. Dimension: 0.1575 +/-0.0591 in (4 +/-1.5 mm)
    4. Dimension: 0.2087 +/-0.0591 in (5.3 +/-1.5 mm)
    5. Dimension: 0.1575 +/-0.0591 in (4 +/-1.5 mm)

Adjustment 

Drivers door 

  1. Release the clips and position aside the instrument panel finish panel.

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

  3. Position aside the LH side inner insulator dash panel.

  4. Remove the LH side lower cowl pad.

  5. Loosen the bolt.

    Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

    Passenger Door 

  6. Remove the 2 hinge pins and remove the glove compartment.

  7. Position aside the inner insulator dash panel.

  9. Loosen the bolt.

    Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

  10. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the front door. Loosen: 2 turn(s)

  12. Adjust the front door as shown.

    7. Dimension
