Main Control Cover: Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to Jacking And Lifting .
- Remove the ACL assembly. Refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .
- Remove the retainers and the engine undershield.
- Remove the transmission fluid drain plug and allow the transmission fluid to drain. Install the drain plug.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- Remove the nuts the retainer and position aside the temperature control valve.
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the CAC outlet tube and position it aside.
- Disconnect the transmission main electrical connector and the wiring retainers.

NOTE: Note the location of the studbolts for assembly.
Remove the main control cover bolts and the main control cover.
