Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. If equipped. Remove the subwoofer and amplifier unit.
  2. Remove the load space floor panel.

  4. NOTE: Subwoofer equipped vehicle load space trim panel shown, others similar.

    Position aside the RH load space trim panel.

  5. NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.

    If equipped. Remove the retainers and remove the subwoofer and amplifier unit mounting bracket.

    Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

    If equipped with subwoofer. Position the VDM and bracket assembly to gain access to the electrical connector.

      Non subwoofer equipped vehicles. Remove the VDM retainers.

      Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)

    2. Position the VDM and bracket assembly to gain access to the electrical connector.

  7. Disconnect the VDM electrical connector and remove the VDM.
